Car-Free Zones: How Our Layout Keeps the Campsite Safe & Peaceful

Looking for a campsite where kids can roam, conversations carry, and nature sets the pace—not passing cars? Our car-free zones are designed to make that possible. At Camping De Regenboog, we deliberately planned car-free zones alongside a logical site layout, central play areas, and designated on-site parking to keep the grounds calm, organized, and safe for everyone.

In this guide, you’ll learn what car-free zones mean in practice, how our layout works, and practical tips for arriving by car or public transport. You’ll also find quick answers to common questions and helpful links to plan your stay.

What Are Car-Free Zones—and Why Do They Matter?

Car-free zones are clearly marked areas of a campsite where guest vehicles do not drive or park. Instead, cars remain in designated parking areas, and people move around on foot or by bike.

At Camping De Regenboog, car-free zones are part of our overall plan to protect the quiet, green character of the site while making daily life simpler for families and couples.

A Layout Built for Calm and Clarity

We’ve kept the campsite intentionally small-scale and spacious—there are 120 camping spots and 28 accommodations spread across a large, green area. Thanks to logical routing, car-free zones, and central play areas, the grounds feel calm and organized, even in high season.

What that means for your stay:
